Just a thought about the excessive pressures on
A&E. The replacement of NHS DIRECT BY THE 111 service is partly responsible
for sending more people to hospital. But another failure is the closure of most
of the Dhazi Walk-in Centres set up by the Labour government for the
convenience of those who didn't have a doctor or couldn't go in surgery hours.
Why did they close the Walk-In Centres? To save money of course.
But I've forgotten the usual warning. It's all
Labour's fault, of course. Due to the wage settlement we gave the doctors in 2002.

for reminding me that it's also due to Labour's hypocrisy.
